Hi, I’m Katie Ford
First of all, thank you. I am so grateful to whatever brought you here. Intentional movement is a huge passion of mine. As someone who suffers from anxiety, when I discovered my yoga practice, it dramatically shifted my life toward the positive.
My first yoga class was in 2015 at a yoga studio where my best friend was working on her teacher training. From that first class, it stuck. I had “tried” yoga before struggling along with Rodney Yee VHS tapes with my mom, mostly giggling — not very mindful.
Breath linked movement resonated with me, and I found myself returning to class after class and even practicing at home. I found with more practice, I could contain my anxiety and quiet my thoughts. It was a welcome relief.
In October 2020 I completed my yoga teacher training through Tamal Yoga in Wilmington, NC. My teacher training was a massive saving grace during the pandemic and inspired me even more to create a space where people can find solace and peace within their practice.
I have had the honor of honing my craft by living in Indiana, North Carolina, and South Carolina. I currently reside in Dallas, TX and teach in the surrounding areas
